Are you vegan?
This is THE most common question I get asked! YESSS! I am vegan and have been for over 3 years! Meg’s Kitchen is a vegan business and that is something that will never change.
All products are made to a vegan recipe, however, some ingredients do have a “may contain milk” allergen warning and if you have severe allergies I would recommend contacting me prior to placing your order.
Do you cater for allergies?
We do! We can offer gluten free and soya free items upon request so please fill out a contact form for more information.
The kitchen that we bake in uses Wheat, Nuts, Soya, Sulphites & Sesame.
How far in advance should I order?
The more notice you can give, the better! My diary fills up quickly, especially for cakes so please book in early to avoid disappointment.
All bakes are made to order so please give at least 3 days notice for your order. The only items that will be available for same day delivery/collection are Zero Waste Mystery Bags.
Treat Boxes and Cake Slice boxes will be dispatched once a month on the date specified. These cannot be ordered for a different date.
Do you cater for events?
Yes we do! We offer grazing tables/platters in both sweet, savoury and a mix of both. We can also offer bespoke cupcakes/cookies for your event!
We are hoping to cater for more events post covid so please contact us for more information.
Can I collect from you?
Yesss! Collection is available from both my home address and from the stall. During stall opening hours collections must be from the stall! I run Meg’s Kitchen alone so cannot be in two places at once!
Do you deliver?
Yes! We offer local delivery and also postal delivery. Local delivery is available outside of stall opening hours. Postal delivery is available any day of the week, just choose the day you would like to have received your treats by and we will get them in the post to you (we cannot guarantee the reliability of postal services!)
How can I pay?
We accept cash, bank transfer, payment through the website and card payments at the stall.
What is the cancellation policy?
As all items are made to order and made with perishable ingredients we cannot provide refunds for a cancelled order within 72 hours of your collection/delivery date.
If you cancel within 7 days of your delivery/collection date then you will receive a partial refund, the amount depends on the ingredients that we have purchased for your order.
If you cancel with over a weeks notice then you may have a full refund.
If you are ordering bespoke items, or items worth over £100 then we will send you an email with the cancellation policy for your order as it may differ from our regular cancellation policy.
